In order to the following information explaining online practices and provides choices available when determining the type of information you choose to provide. To make this notice easy to find, it is made available on the Chapter’s website where-in personal identifiable information may be requested
Information Collected:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Cincinnati Region of the American Red Cross’ website. When ordering products, making request and registering to receive materials, personal information including: name, address, email address and phone number and credit/debit card information is collected.
The information is used to complete the order. It is not shared with outside parties unless the information is needed to complete the order. Return addresses are used to answer emails; these addresses are not shared with outside parties.
You can subscribe to the Chapter email list or register with the Chapter website if you would like to receive a catalog or any updates on products and services. Information you submit on the Chapter website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form.
The Chapter uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design the website and to share with advertisers. For example, an advertiser may be provided with the number of individuals that visit a certain area on the Chapter’s website. This information may be broken down to gender and/or age. However, information that can be used to directly identify an individual is not disclosed.
Finally, information that would identify an individual and provide information to the Chapter online-in ways other than what has been mentioned above-without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent such unrelated uses is prohibited.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, information is not collected from persons under the age of 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under that required age.

To correct factual errors in personally identifiable information, send a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy there will be steps to take in order to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
